In January, I celebrated my birthday, and to all those who reached out to me, thank you very much. I had one particular brother from my home church years ago back in Oklahoma send me a video of him playing Happy Birthday on the church organ. What makes this so special is that he does that every year for my birthday. Every year, on my birthday, I find this in my inbox on my birthday… Happy Birthday on the organ. It’s something small.

What makes this even more amazing is that I don’t talk to this brother at all. We interact once a year – on my birthday- It’s so meaningful because it’s like he is saying, “Hey brother, I’m thinking about you. I love you. Happy Birthday!”

Jesus said in the Gospel of John 13:34, “A new commandment I give to you that you love one another, even as I have loved you. By this all men will know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another.”

What things can we do this week to show others that we love them, especially those of the family of faith. What small things could we do to show others we are thinking about them? Be looking, waiting and watching for those opportunities God is going to give you this week to be an example of His love. Step up to show the whole world that you are disciple of Him who loves others.

God bless. And have a good day.
